1. Who we are
This website is run by Strela Ltd (company number 10644847), trading as More than Loft Ladders Coventry. We are an independent franchisee of the More than Loft Ladders brand. We are the “controller” of the personal information described in this notice, which means we decide how and why it is used.
To contact us about your information, phone us on 024 7752 0467, email coventry@mtll.co.uk or write to Strela Ltd, 2 Merus Court, Meridian Business Park, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE19 1RJ.

If you do not go ahead, we delete or anonymise it once it is no longer needed. |
| Customer records if you go ahead: survey notes, quotes, job details, photos of the work, payment records and warranty details. | To carry out the work, take payment, keep accounts and honour your lifetime warranty. | Performing our contract with you; our legal obligation to keep accounting records; our legitimate interest in handling warranty claims. | Accounting records for 6 years, as the law requires. Job and warranty records for as long as your warranty applies. |
| Calls, emails and messages between you and us. | To answer your questions and keep a record of what we agreed. | Our legitimate interest in running the business and resolving queries. | Only for as long as needed to deal with your query. If you go ahead, they are kept with your customer record. |
| Website and advertising information: the page you submitted from, which advert or search brought you here (for example a Google Ads click ID or campaign tag), and basic device and browser details. | To understand which marketing brings genuine enquiries, to keep the website secure and to fix problems. | Our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our marketing and keeping our site secure. See “Cookies” below for anything that needs your consent. | Kept with the enquiry it relates to. Any separate analytics data is kept only for as long as it is useful, and no longer than needed. |
We need the details in the quote form to book your survey and give you a quote. If you do not provide them, we will not be able to do that.
We collect this information directly from you. We do not buy in marketing lists.
How we decide how long to keep information: we keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, and for any period the law requires, such as tax and accounting rules. We review what we hold and delete or anonymise information we no longer need. If you would like to know how long we will keep your information, ask us.
3. Contacting you
We will use your phone number and email address to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on it. We may contact you by phone, email or message about the survey, quote and work you asked about. If you tell us you do not want to be contacted, we will stop.
We will only send you marketing about other services if you have agreed to it or you are an existing customer and we are marketing similar services, and every message will include a way to opt out.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with people who help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Our website host and delivery network (currently Cloudflare), which processes requests to this website, including your IP address, and delivers your quote form to us.
- Our systems for handling enquiries, such as the email, spreadsheet, CRM or automation tools we use to receive and manage new enquiries.
- Our installers and surveyors, who need your name, address and contact details to visit you.
- Finance providers, if you choose to apply for 0% finance. They are separate controllers and will give you their own privacy notice.
- Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers, where needed.
- Advertising and analytics providers (for example Google), only if you accept the relevant cookies. See “Cookies” below.
- The authorities, if the law requires us to.
5. Sending information outside the UK
Some of our providers, such as Cloudflare and Google, may process information in countries outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards the UK GDPR recognises, such as the UK’s adequacy regulations for approved countries, the UK Addendum to the International Data Transfer Agreement, or the provider’s certification under the UK–US Data Bridge.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. You can accept or reject them with equal ease, and the site works either way.
- Strictly necessary storage. We save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not keep asking you. We do not need your consent for this. It is kept for up to 12 months.
- Optional analytics and advertising cookies. If you accept, we may use tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand how people find and use this site and which adverts lead to enquiries. These tools may set cookies and send information, including your IP address, to Google. They are not loaded unless you accept.
- Advert information. If you arrive from an advert, we keep a note of which one for this visit so it can go with your enquiry. If you accept cookies, we also save it in your browser until you close the tab.
You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. How we protect your information
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Quote requests are sent securely to us, we limit who can see them, and we only use providers that offer appropriate security. No system is completely secure, so please tell us straight away if you think your information has been misused.
8. Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- be told how your information is used (this notice);
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, in some circumstances;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, in some circumstances;
- object to us using it where we rely on our legitimate interests, and to any direct marketing;
- ask for the information you gave us in a portable format, where we use it under contract or with your consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, phone us on 024 7752 0467, email coventry@mtll.co.uk or write to Strela Ltd, 2 Merus Court, Meridian Business Park, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE19 1RJ. We will reply within one month. We may need to check who you are first. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
9. Complaints
We would like the chance to put things right, so please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
10. Children
Our services are for homeowners and are not aimed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
